Day 01 London/Beijing
Join your overnight flight to Beijing from London Heathrow with Air China.
Day 02 Beijing
On arrival in China capital city of Beijing you will be met and transferred to your hotel, the Beijing Gloria Palace, for one night stay.
Day 03 Beijing/Guiyang
A morning flight to Guiyang in the south west of China. On arrival you will be transferred to the Guiyang Miracle Hotel for one nights stay including dinner.
Day 04 Anshun
Morning pickup to Anshun (125mile). Visit the Huangguoshu Waterfall. After lunch , a tour to the Buyi Stone village, with it rich and varied folk customs of one of the largest ethnic groups in the region. Dragon Palace cave where you will enjoy a boat trip and see the underground streams and waterfalls. Stay at the Anshun Miracle Express for 1 night. Including dinner.
Day 05 Guiyang
After returning to Guiyang you will visit the ?or Ground Opera, an ancient opera with masks and traditional costumes. Afternoon tour to the Jiaxiu Pavilion and the Bird and Flower Market. Staying again at the Guiyang Miracle Hotel.
Day 06 Kaili
A full day tour to Kaili by bus (125 miles) including lunch then a visit to the Folk Museum and a Papermaking Workshop. Later you will be visiting a Qingmen Miao Village and a Miao family in their traditional Miao Wooden House. Dinner of traditional Miao cuisine. Stay at Kaili Grand Dragon Hotel.
Day 07 Kaili/Rongjiang
Drive to both the Langde (long skirt) and the Datang (short skirt) Miao Villages where you will be greeted with traditional wine. You will have lunch before a 95 mile bus journey through the picturesque Guizhou countryside to Rongjiang. Staying at the Rongjiang Guest House.
Day 08 Congjiang
Full day tour through the rugged landscape to Basha Miao Village where you will see the men sport fancy hair designs and the women shining costume. Lunch, then a bamboo sedan ride to the Yingtan Dong Village where you will be treated to dinner before heading to the Congjiang Guest House for the night.
Day 09 Zhaoxing
Morning bus journey (94 miles) to the Terrace Field where you will have lunch. Afternoon visit to Dong Village with it traditional Drum Tower. Staying at the Zhaoxing Wooden House in the village.
Day 10 Sanjiang
Morning drive to the Diping Wind & Rain Bridge which is a typical example of Dong architecture. Break for lunch before heading to Chengyang Wind & Rain Bridge (largest in China). Dinner in the Dong Village. Staying at the Sanjiang Guest House.
Day 11 Longsheng/Guilin
Taking a bus to Longsheng (63 miles) to visit the Yao Minority Village, and have lunch. The Yao people retain a unique style of costume and adornment with certain variations depending upon their residential location. Then travelling through the countryside to Guilin. Stay at the Guilin Bravo Hotel.
Day 12 Guilin
Half day Li River Cruise. The 40 mile journey to Yangshuo glides through a landscape of natural beauty of mist shrouded crags and bamboo groves which have inspired painters and poets for centuries. Lunch on the boat and sightseeing in Yangshuo. Staying at the Yangshuo Holiday Hotel.
Day 13 Yangshuo
Day at leisure.
Day 14 Guilin/Beijing
Bus transfer back to Guilin and lunch, Transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing, and a transfer to the Beijing Gloria Hotel for 2 nights.
Day 15 Beijing
Day at leisure.
Day 16 Beijing/London
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to London.
