The Regent Hotel (Lijing Jiudian) is a three star hotel that was invested in by the Baotou Electrical Equipment Company and Hong Kong Wan Chang International Investment Corporation. The hotel is about 20 minutes drive from the airport and 15 minutes drive from the railway station.

The hotel has a total of 91 guestrooms, ranging from standard doubles to deluxe suites. All of the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, cable television, in-room safes and refrigerators.

Facilities in the hotel are limited. For recreation the hotel has a sauna, a bar, a night club, and a beauty salon. There are also several meeting rooms and a business center that provides IDD telephones, typing, printing, facsimile, photocopying and ticket reservation services.

The hotel has a total of three restaurants mostly serving Chinese cuisine. The restaurant on the first floor serves seafood hotpot. There is a Chinese restaurant on the second floor that provides Cantonese cuisine, and a Revolving Restaurant on the twelfth floor that has great views.
