There is an ancient tomb site of Jin dynasty lies on a hill to the north side of the Changchun Jingyue Lake Ski Resort which is named Mount Stone Sheep and Stone Tiger. On the two sides of the tomb there are a figure, a tiger and a sheep made by stone. The head of the figure was lost during the Culture Revolution period. The rest is 1.65 meters high, wearing a robe with a girdle which has some square patterns on it. The figure whose clothes resemble the bureaucrats of the Song Dynasty is holding a weapon called Hu, wearing a pair of curved boots. The stone sheep is couchant, and the stone tiger sitting. From these sculptures, we can see that the owner of the tomb should be a bureaucrat above the rank three, and the tomb is regarded as a general’s tomb after survey. The site was ranked as the Culture Relics of National Importance under the protection of Changchun in 1981.
