Meet and transfer to Shaoshan, the birthplace of legendary Mao Zedong for an overnight stay. To visit Chairman MaoZedong childhood family residence, his Museum and Dripping Water cave, where he lived for 11 days during the famous Cultural Revolution. We later return by coach to Changsha visiting the historic West Han Dynasty Tombs on the way. Board our day train to the Zhangjiajie Scenic area. During the next two days we embark on a photographers dream journey where the most extraordinary features of this area are the spectacular limestone formations.
