The (Temple of Appeasing the Borders; ï¿¥10), the most northerly of the group, was built in 1764 for a troop of Mongolian soldiers who were moved to Chengde by Qianlong. It’s not spectacular nor was it in great shape in recent times, though it may be worth a look once it reopens after
renovation.
