Day 1

Arrive / Beijing
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement.
Once arrive at Beijing,be met & transferred to your hotel. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2
Beijing
Full day trip to the Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Peking Opera Show in the evening.

- The Tian’anmen Square: The largest city square in the world.
- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.
- The Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God’s bless of the whole nation.The Great Wall, Beijing

Day 3
Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall,Ming Tomb and Sacred road. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.

- The Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol of China.
- The Ding Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty.
- The Sacred Road: The way guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.

Day 4
beijing/ Xi’an
Visit the Summer Palace. Take afternoon flight to Xi’an. Arrive at Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel.

- The Summer Palace: The largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years.

Day 5
Xi’an
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the Bell Tower and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.

- The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin’s tomb.
- The Bell Tower: The Symblem of Xian city.
- The Tang Dynasty show: The show that presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital.

Day 6
Xi’an / Dunhuang
Transfer via: Flight MU2227 (19:10-21:10)-on our arrangement
Visit the Provincial Museum, the Ancient City Wall and the Hanyang Tomb. Take afternoon flight to Dunhuang.

- The Provincial Museum: One of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China.
- The Ancient City Wall: An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survives through Chinese long history.

Day 7
Dunhuang
Visit the Yumen Guan Pass, the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty(about 2000 years ago), the Hecang Fortress and the Yang Guan Pass.

- The Yumen Guan Pass: Once as one of the west gates out of the country of the Han Dynasty (206 B. C. -220 A. D.), it is quite ruined by the shifting sands but still shows the ever splendor.
- The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty: Though made in clay and bulrushes, the wall still remains very well.
- The Hecang Fortress: Supplies like food and wine were transported here from nearby towns to be stored for the armies that guarded the Yumen Guan Pass.

Day 8
Dunhuang
Transfer via: Over night train T192/193 22:46-6:50
Visit the Mogao Caves and the Crescent Lake. In the evening, catch the over night train to Turpan.

- The Mogao Caves: Constructed over a millennium, from the 4th to the 14th centuries, the caves hold the world’s richest treasure house of Buddhist sutras, murals and sculptures.
- The Crescent Lake: The lake and the Sounding Sand Dune which can make sounds when the wind passes are located in the place where the sand and the oasis meet.

Day 9
Turpan
Visit the Gaochang Ancient City, the Astana Tombs, and the Flaming Mountain. Enjoy the cultural show of Uygur songs and dances.

- The Gaochang Ancient City: The city’s name means “the King City”. It is laid in the first century B.C. and abandoned roughly in the 15th century.
- The Flaming Mountain: Crustal movements and years of efflorescence fashion its unique geological feature. When the sun’s rays beat down in mid-afternoon, the red rocks on the crisscross gullies and ravines reflect and the heat is intense as if the hillsides were engulfed by tongues of fire, hence the name.

Day 10
Turpan / Urumqi
Transfer via: Coach(2.5 hours)
Visit the Karez Well, the Emin Minaret, and the Grape Valley. Drive to Urumqi

- The Emin Minaret: It was built in 1777 to commemorate and praise ruler of Turpan, Emin Khoja who achieved brilliant military success in suppressing the armed rebellion.
- The Grape Valley: Grape Gorge, with its shady vineyards and fruit-laden trees, provides you with a welcome place of relaxation amidst hundreds of square miles of sand.

Day 11
Urumqi
Visit the Southern Pasture and Khazak Yurts.

- The Southern Pasture: Located in the valley of Tian Mountain, the pasture is a very beautiful nice place for graze with mountains, valleys, fountains, waterfalls, cypress and pine trees.
- The Khazak Yurts: Of the three main types of yurt in use today, Khazak yurts, with a bent-wood roof and crown, are mainly used by Uygur people.

Day 12
Urumqi / Kashgar
Transfer via: PM flight
Visit the Heavenly Lake, Transfer from hotel to airport and fly to Kashgar.

- The Heavenly Lake: The lake is 1900 meters above the sea level. It is particularly refreshing for travelers arriving in Urumqi from the barren deserts in Xinjiang.
- Kashgar is a giant oasis and key city on the Silk Road.

Day 13
Kashgar / Urumqi
Transfer via: PM flight
Visit the Idigar Mosque, the Abakh Khoja Tomb. Take evening flight back to Urumqi.

- The Idigar Mosque: The mosque was built in 1426. It is the largest mosque in Xinjiang and the centre of the Moslem activities, as well.
- The Abakh Khoja Tomb: The tomb served as the family tomb of Abakh Khoja, the powerful ruler of Kashgar in the 17th century who was revered as a prophet and second only to Mohammed.

Day 14

Urumqi / Shanghai
Transfer via: PM flight
Visit the Erdaoqiao Bazaar. Take the afternoon flight to Shanghai.

- The Erdaoqiao Bazaar: It is the largest Uygur bazaar in Urumqi. Here, you’ll find a bustling market filled with fruit, clothing, crafts, knives, carpets and more.

Day 15
Shanghai
Tour to the Bund, Nanjing Road, Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden & Yu Market.

- The Bund: the former foreign settlement, ranged along with imposing buildings of the colonial period.
- Nanjing Road: the busiest shopping street in Shanghai.

Day 16
Shanghai
Tour to Shanghai Museum, Children’s Palace & Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

- Shanghai Museum: The biggest museum in China, with a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics. The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.
- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Standing by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the highest TV Tower in Asia.

Day 17
Shanghai / Exit
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement.
In the morning, be transferred to the airport for the flight to the next destination.
