Kunming
Visit The Stone Forest, Market of birds and flowers, The Grand View Tower.

- The Stone Forest: One of China’s most remarkable natural phenomena located 90 km southeast of Kunming. Due to a process of weathering and erosion, nature has created an art gallery of stone sculpture here. The Stone Forest area is the home of the Sani people, a branch of the Yi ethnic tribe, which is reputed for their diligence, valour, wisdom, exquisite embroidery and melodious songs and graceful dances.
- Market of birds and flowers: a part of a series of streets and markets in central Kunming where an attempt has been made to preserve some of the typical architecture of the region. Traditional wooden houses with grass growing from their roofs line the streets where a variety of products are sold, including of course a small alley devoted to flowers and cage birds.
- The Grand View Tower: Grand View Park (Daguan Gongyuan) sits on the northern shores of the Dian Lake. Completed in 1690 during the Qing Dynasty, the park consists of hills, ponds, pavilions and rockeries in a style similar to that of the gardens of the Yangtze River Delta.

Kunming To Dali

You will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight and fly to Dali.
Visit Local Buildings of Bai Nationality in Xizhou, Three Cups of Bai Tea ceremony, Bai Ethnic Villages, Cruise on Lake Erhai , The ancient Dali town.
- Local Buildings of Bai Nationality in Xizhou: Xizhou House:live Bai minority people. You will see their typical traditions, dresses there.
- Three Cups of Bai Tea ceremony: The tea ceremony, known as “three cups of tea (san dao cha),” is part of the ethnic Bai’s traditional routine of treating guests. Its history can be dated back to the Tang Dynasty, when Fan Chuo recording in a book on Barbarians (ethnic minorities),which says that “The barbarians gave me a drink, which was a cooked mixture of peppercorn, ginger and cassia. The famous tourist and explorer in Ming dynasty also noted “first a cup of clear tea, then a cup of salt tea, and last a cup of honey tea.”
- Bai Ethnic Villages: The Bai ethnic minority (or Nationality as Chinese like to say), is one if the largest and most well known minority groups in China. For more than 4000 years, the Bai people have been based in the Dali area centered around Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. During the Tang Dynasty, the Bai banded together and defeated the Han Chinese to create the Bai Nanzhao Kingdom centered in the ancient city of Dali. This kingdom lasted for several centuries and could be regarded as one of Dali’s golden ages
- The ancient Dali town: The ancient Dali town:built in 1382 and is one the 24 most famous historical and cultural cities in China.

Visit Temple of the Three Pogodas, Gantong Cable Lift on Cangshan, Zhoucheng elaborate batik crafts.

- Temple of the Three Pogodas: Three Pagodas:are located northwest of Dali at the foot Cangshan Mountains. With Qianxun Pagoda, completed in 876 during the Tang dynasty (618-907AD).
- Gantong Cable Lift on Cangshan: Gantong Cable Lift on Cangshan
- Zhoucheng elaborate batik crafts: a town where Bai minority people live and is famous for its elaborate batik crafts.

Visit The Black Dragon Pool, The Protection Fee of Lijiang Old Town, The Ancient City, Shuhe Naxi Village.

- The Black Dragon Pool: TThe park holds the Black Dragon Pool and got name because of it. The pool is listed in the Collections of Famous Pools of China because of its beauty.
- The Protection Fee of Lijiang Old Town: The Lijiang ancient town:The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world’s major cultural heritages in 1997.

Day 6
Lijiang
Visit The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, The Mural in Baisha Village, The Yufengsi Lamasery/The Jade Summit Lamasery, Yak Meadow, Naxi Ancient Music.

- The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain:The mountain has 13 peaks of which the highest is 18000 feet above sea level. It is a treasure of wild plants and rare animals.
- The Mural in Baisha Village: With the introduction of the Buddhism, people painted plenty of murals on the walls of temples in the Ming Dynasty.
- The Yufengsi Lamasery/The Jade Summit Lamasery: The Yufeng Temple:built in the Qing Dynasty and famous for camillias in the temple.
- Yak Meadow: One of the part of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, living the Yi and Zang Monorities.
- Naxi Ancient Music: combines holy tunes from Daoist and Confucians ceremonies and literary lyrics and topics from poets. Naxi ancient music is praised by the contemporary as the “living fossil of music”.
