Bangchuidao and Tiger beaches From east to west around the coast on Binhai Lu,
| the first beach is Bangchuidao, next to the golf course, and formerly reserved for cadres but now open to the public. Highly developed Tiger Beach, next, can be reached 0il buses #2, #4, #402 or #801.The fimfair here, which includes a waterborne dodgem ride, has a whopping RMB80 entrance charge, which doesn’t include any rides but includes admission to the new Arctic aquarium, a navy ship you can board and, west on Bmhai Lu, an aviary (daily: May-Oct gain-Spin; Nov-April 8.30am-4.30pm). |  |
| Tandem and mountain bikes are for rent along tile waterfront for ~20 an hour, and there are boat trips out to Bangchui Island and beyond (from ~40); routes and prices are posted at ticket kiosks.
