Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer tothe hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at the original, century-old Qianmen Quan Ju De restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day3: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area.

Day4: Beijing -Datong
Visit the Summer Palace and have a Hutong rickshaw tour in the afternoon. Take the overnight soft sleeper train to Datong.

Day5: Datong
Arrive in Datong in the morning and transfer tothe hotel. Visit the Yungang Grottoes, the Huayan Monastery, Shanhua Monastery and the Nine Dragons Screen.

Day6: Datong -Taiyuan
Full day tour to Sakyamuni Wooden Pagoda at Fogong Temple in Yingxian County. Take the overnight soft sleeping train to Taiyuan.

Day7: Taiyuan
Arrive in Taiyuan in the early morning and transfer tothe hotel. Morning is free at leisure. Visit the Double pagoda Temple and the Chongshan Temple in the afternoon. (B+L)

Take car to Pingyao and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Qiao Family’s compound, Shuanglin Monastery, the City Wall and the Ming - Qing Street.

Day9: Pingyao -Taiyuan -Xian
Visit the Ri Sheng Chang Financial House, the Tongxinggong ancient bank safeguard and the Courtyard Residence. Back to Taiyuan by car and take the overnight soft sleeper train to Xian.

Day10: Xian
Arrive in Xian and transfer tothe hotel. You will have a Sichuan cuisine lunch at a local famous restaurant. Visit the Provincial History Museum and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening we will offer the best a la carte Banquet at a top Cantonese cuisine restaurant.

Day11: Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Great Mosque and the City Wall. After you enjoy the local speciality, the Dumpling Banquet, you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Day12: Xian -Kunming
Take a flight to Kunming and transfer tothe hotel. Visit the Flowers and Birds Market and the Golden Palace.

Day13: Kunming -Lijiang
Visit the Stone Forest. Take a flight to Lijiang and transfer tothe hotel.

Day14: Lijiang
Visit the Baisha Village and a local Naxi family, the Baisha Murals, the Rock Joseph’s Former Residence in Yuhu Village. You can explore the old town by yourselves in the afternoon. Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at DongbaPalace in the evening after dinner.

Day15: Lijiang -Kunming -Guilin
Morning is free. Take an afternoon flight to Kunming and connect flight in Kunming to Guilin by yourselves. Pick you up at Guilin airport and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre after dinner.

Day16: Guilin -Yangshuo
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Transfer to the hotel. A short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager’s home to experience the farmer’s lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, TCG suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today.) (B+L)

Day17: Yangshuo - Guilin -Shanghai
Transfer back to Guilin by car. Visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Fubo Hill. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel.

Day18: Shanghai
Visit the Qibao Old Town, the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund. The special flavor dinner is served at Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.

Day19: Shanghai -Suzhou
Take the soft seat train to Suzhou and transfer tothe hotel. Visit the Garden of the Master of the Nets, the Tiger Hill and the Humble Administrator’s Garden.

Take soft seat train back to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. The afternoon is free.
