Emeishan Scenic Area is quite close to Emeishan city, and the area boasts numerous hotel options.
At the foot of the mountain beside the Baoguo Temple there are several nice hotels clustered along the road leading to the summit. Among these, the best ones are the three star Emeishan Hotel and the Hongzhushan Hotel which was the former residence of Chang Kai Shek. Both the bus road and the walking path start here so this is an ideal place for preparation before ascending the 3099M mountain or to crash out in on your way down again!
After successfully ascending the famous Golden Summit, the best reward is probably a clean bed and a nice shower. The Jinding Hotel on the Golden Summit is probably the best choice.
