Mount Xiqiao Baiyun Cave Scenic Spot: always known as a “famous mount in Nanyue”, is located at the southwest of Nanhai, a hinterland of Zhujian Delta of Guangdong province as well as 40 miles away from Guangzhou city. It is reputed as a beautiful local country picture of Zhujiang Delta, and a dark green jade in Lingnan region.

Baiyun Cave Scenic Spot, located at the northwestern Baiyun Cave Scenic Spot of Mount Xiqiaofoot of Mount Xiqiao, is one of 36 caves in this Mount. This Cave is reputed as a model of Mount Xiqiao Scenic Spot, as it is said if you want to enjoy the beauty of Mount Xiqiao, you shall fist travel Baiyun Cave. The scholar-bureaucrats, literators and painters of all ages have left behind abundant historical and cultural relics at Baiyun Cave. These buildings and cliff stone inscriptions during Ming and Qing Dynasty include: Sanhu College, Kuiguang Building, Yunquan Fairyland, Baiyun Temple, etc, of which “Mount Xiqiao Waterfall” was listed in Qing Dynasty as “one of eight scenic spots of Guangzhou city”.
