During the day, the taxi fare is CNY 7 for the first two kilometers (1.2 miles). An additional fee of CNY 2.6 is charged for each additional kilometer within eight kilometers (5 miles), and CNY 2.8 is charged for every kilometer beyond eight kilometers. In addition, an extra CNY 1 for fuel is charged once if the distance is beyond two kilometers.
From 22:00 to 07:00 the next morning or on holidays, the taxi fee remains the same as in daytime. However, whenever taking a taxi, visitors pay CNY 1 for every two and a half minutes of waiting time. In addition, the passengers pay for any tolls.
