Qinghui Garden, located at Qinghui Road of Daliang town, Shunde, is reputed as four famous gardens of Guangdong province in company with Foshan’ Liangyuan Garden, Fanyu’s Yuyinshan Villa and Dongguan’s Keyuan Garden. Originally, this Garden was founded by Huang Shijun, Number One Scholar during late Ming Dynasty. During Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, it was purchased by high-grade scholar Long Yingshi. Afterwards, it was built out by descendents of Long clan, and then finalized up to the early days of the Republic of China. Recently, Shunde municipal Party committee has launched to repair it on a large scale. The total area of Qinghui Garden is 22 thousands sq.m., wherein there are smaller gardens and other neighboring scenic spots characterized by both Lingnan buildings and Jiangnan gardens. Inside the Garden, there are clear water and flourishing woods. And, water, trees, stone hills, small bridges are blended with booths and pavilions, presenting a kind of distinctive scenery.

In other words, flowers, fruit trees and precious artworks are spread everywhere, all of which are integrating architecture, garden, sculpture, painting and calligraphy and gray sculpt, etc, thus mirroring features of “grand, marvelous, steep, tranquil and beautiful” in Chinese ancient gardens. Primary scenic spots include: recreation boat, thatched cottage nearby brook, Chengyi booth, hexagonal booth, Xiyin study room, bamboo garden, little cave, Bishenghua hut, Guiji inn, little Pengying island, Hongqu study room, Fenlai peak, Duyun room, Muying gully and liufen pavilion, etc.
