Guilin Museum is located in Guilin City Xishan Park. Constructed in 1963, then Guo Moruo-the famous Poet give name for” Guilin Museum”.
In the mid of 1980s, the Central government invented to the Museum and rebuilt it in this location. December 15, 1988 opened for public. The building using traditional Chinese Jiangnan-garden style and with the South dry column Clip architectural style, with a total area of 10,000 square meters and a building area is 8648 square meters.

Guilin existing historical relics displayed in the exhibition hall, Guangxi folk display pavilion and international friends minority gift display pavilion, displaying exhibits about 3,000 pieces, country state first class and second class artifacts 500, more than 20,000 pieces in storage.
