Consisting largely of mountain areas, the central area of Hainan is more than 500 meters above sea level. The climate is fairly mild in winter and comparitively cool in summer. Thus this is a fairly pleasant environment all year round. July is the warmest month with an average temperature of 25 degrees Centigrade.
