Hangzhou International Youth Hostel is situated by the west lake with some rooms overlooking the water and beautiful scenery.
There are plenty o
f good pubs, cafes and art galleries etc along the main road outside the hostel. The China Arts Institute is just opposite us and 10 minutes from the hostel you will find Hefang Street, a restored old pedestrian street dating back to the South Song Dynasty 1000 years ago.
Marathons and hill walking are organized regularly around the lake. A climbing wall is also available at the hostel. We have a Reading room with book exchange, and lots of DVDs to watch at your leisure.
Air conditioning is available in every room and there are separate men’s and women’s bathroom and shower facilities.

How to get Hangzhou International Youth Hostel
If you arrive by air: please take the Airport shuttle bus to downtown (Wulinmen), change to Bus No. K12 or 12, get off at Qianwangci.
Arriving by train: if you arrive at Hangzhou Railway Station, please take Bus No.Y2 to Qingbomen, and then change to Bus No. K4 or K12 (bus stop opposite same street) to Qianwangci.
If you arrive at East Railway Station, please take Bus No.K516 to Wulinmen, and then change to Bus No.K12 or 12 get off at Qianwangci.

2.Wu Shan Yi Youth Hostel - Hangzhou
Location
Wu Shan Yi Youth Hostel is located at the foot of Wushan Hill, which is one of the famous tourist attractions of the West Lake. As the ancient commercial center of Nan Song Dynasty, the Wushan Hill covers the history of this city in silence. In a gradually commercialized city, the Wu Shan Yi hostel provides you a quite place to temporarily release the pressure from the modern society. Here, the only agenda of guests here is to relax.
Hostel provides all kinds of facilities and services. It has double rooms and larger rooms to accommodate more, with air-conditioner, TV and 24-hour hot water. The kitchen makes Chinese and Western meals and snacks.
The hostel also has an amazing garden for you to relax in after a long day travelling. Famous tourist attractions, such as Sky Wind over the Wu Hill, listening to Orioies Singing in the Willows and Flying Clouds over Yuhuang Hill are just several steps away.
How to get to the hostel:
By air: from Hangzhou Xiao Shan airport, you can take the bus to Wulin little square, then take bus K 12 or 12 to Qing Bo Men. It takes about 10 minutes from the bus stop to the hostel.
By train: from the Hangzhou Railway Station, you can take bus line K187 to Wu Shan Road, or you can take bus line Y1 or Y2 to Qing Bo Men. If you are coming from the Hangzhou East Railway Station, please take bus line Y7 to Qing Bo Men.
By bus: from Hangzhou East Bus Station, take bus line Y7 to Qing Bo Men.
