Zhejiang Provincial Museum

The Zhejiang Provincial Museum located on Solitary Hill Island (Gushan) was originally the holiday palace of Emperor Qianlong in the 18th century. The museum displays Neolithic relics, which were excavated in Yuyao County. Ningpo Province and exhibits a comprehensive collection of bronze wares, vessels as well as paintings from different dynasties.

Chinese Tea Museum

Hangzhou Museums Situated in Longjing Village, the museum is composed of four Chinese traditional buildings centered in beautiful setting. The No.1 building is a large exhibition hall divided into five smaller exhibition halls-Tea History Hall, Tea Collection Hall, Tea Production Hall, Tea-set Hall, and the Tea Custom Hall. The No.2 building is a conference hall. The No.3 building is a teahouse. The No.4 building is an entertainment space. To get to the museum take bus No 27. Business Hours: 8:30-16:30

Chinese Silk Museum

Built in 1990, the museum is located at the foot of Yuhuang Hill west of West Lake. The museum is divided into several smaller exhibition halls, including the Silkworm Raising Hall, Raw Silk Production Hall, Silk Fabric Making Hall, and Silk Dyeing Hall. To get the museum takes bus No.31.

Chinese Traditional Medicine Museum

The museum is located in Dajing Street east of Wu Hill. As a medicine shop, it was built in 1878 (the Qing Dynasty) by Mr. Hu Xueyan. It was famous for its Chinese medicine. Now it is the unique Chinese traditional medicine museum of China, which exhibits the development of Chinese medicine. To get the museum takes bus No.31.
