The Overseas Chinese Hotel (Hangzhou huaqiao fandian) is a three star hotel with an excellent location right on Hangzhou’s West Lake.It’s a comfortable and very good value place and the rooms at the front have great views over the lake. The Hotel is only four kms from the railway station and thirteen kms from the airport. The transport facilities here are also good.

The rooms are simple yet tastefully decorated and well equipped. The Hotel also has a lovely sauna, a shopping arcade and a small cafe. Right next door (but not within hearing range!) is the most happening bar in the city, the “Paradise Rock”.

This is a great place offering good value for money in an unbeatable location.
