The Beiyuan Hotel (Beiyuan fandian) is fairly well located, directly in front of the railway station, about 40km from the airport. This is one of the cheapest hotels in this city, and, as such, you should certainly not expect too much. The hotel is a bit stark, and, unsurprising with its low price, is usually filled with Russians.

With a two star rating, the Beiyuan has about 200 rooms including standard rooms and suites. All of the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, TV and telephone. Further facilities include a business center with typing, photocopy and fax services, a snooker room, a beauty parlor, a shop, IDD and DDD telephones and 3 business rooms (2 meeting rooms and one function hall, capable of holding over 200 people). The lobby area also has a money exchange desk and ticket reservation services.

There is one Chinese restaurant, on two levels, that is apparently capable of holding up to 400 people at a squeeze.
