The Holiday Inn (Haerbin wanda jiari jiudian) is centrally located in the main business and leisure areas of Daoli district, just off Central Street, offering the discerning traveler easy access to business, shopping and entertainment centers. It is very easy to get to Song Hua River, St. Sophia Church and Zhao Lin Park where the Ice Lantern Festival is held every year. It is 30 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from the railway station. This is one of the better placed hotels in Harbin and the services here are definitely high four star, although there is no pool or tennis courts, often to be expected of this chain.

The rooms here are also great, big beds and good views, although they can sometimes be a little dark. All 144 rooms have individually controlled air-conditioning, a color TV with satellite channels, in-house movies, a private bathroom with hairdryer, IDD telephone and a minibar.

Facilities here are also up to standard. The lobby area has an air ticket center, a currency exchange desk, a gift shop, and transport to the airport can be arranged from here. For recreation the hotel has a fitness club, a sauna, a steam bath & massage center, snooker, a beauty salon and, for the more active, the Hurricane disco & karaoke center. Business guests will also be pleased, the hotel has many services including a business center with secretarial service, 4 function rooms and a large banquet room, the Dragon Hall, that can hold up to 120 people.

For a fairly small hotel the Holiday Inn also serves good cuisine. Le Petit Paris Restaurant offers an extensive variety of European and Asian dishes, while the Phoenix Restaurant specializes in Cantonese, including Dim Sum, and Northeastern cuisine. The Boulevard Bar also has nightly live piano performances.
