Shopping Overview

The only really exceptional product of note from this area are the huge quantities of fish and seafood that the lake provides, year in, year out, including many varieties of carp (crucian, silver, black, and red-tailed).
The dried and salted carp are convenient to take away and are tasty (if a little chewy).

Jingpo also has an alright supply of Ginseng and other Chinese medicines, and the pinenuts from the nearby forests are popular with travelers (although more popular in the form of the sweetcorn and pinenuts dish [songzi yumi]).
