Climate in four seasons here are fairly distinct: the dry spring is ideal for
watching the sunrise; summer is characterized by fits of rain; autumn boasts many fine
days; winter is snowy and foggy, making conquest of the mountain even tougher.

Due to the altitude here, the annual average temperature is much lower than on the
plain, at about 6.8 degrees C. It is also quite windy on the mountain, with heavy humidity
and fog in summer time. As a result, before climbing, you are advised to take warm
clothing (even in summer), as well as a mackintosh, if possible! Generally speaking, the
best time to pay a visit to the mountain is between May and October.
