There are human activities in Jilin as lone as 40000-70000years ,Except the han there are three main nationalityies ,one is nvzhen, manchu ,wuji , yilou,they mainly lived the eastern part,the second one is fuyu and the branch of of gaojvli ,the former lived in north ,the later lived in sourth ,the third one is donghu including the wuhen,xianbei,qidan,shiwei(mongolia)ect. Mainly lived in the western.jilin the manchu langue , the name of jilin wula. it means along the river,At first it is the name of jilin city ,there are so many kinds of written ways ,inder to have the same name,the emperor kangxi give order to call it jilin .I 1931 the jilin is occupied .In 1948 ,the province government move to jilin province,in 1954 the changchun devided to jilin ,the capital moved to changchun ,it became the unique province which has the same name with the city .The rime of jilin is well known to the world.
