By far the most upmarket Muslim restaurant in the city, Layada lacks the gritty appeal of Jilin’s other Hui minority eateries but still manages to serve some fine mutton dishes. Portions are small but well presented. Don’t miss the shousi yangrau, tender bits of torn lamb served with soy-and-garlic dipping sauce.
