jinghong’s little airport has some international flights to Chiang Mai and Bangkok in Thailand. Maybe some flight to Laos (Luang Prabang). There are also flights to Kunming 45 minutes (CNY 500) Airplane from Jinghong to Kunming Only 50 min. by airplane connects Jinghong to Kunming, instead of 10h by sleeper bus. If you are lucky, you can travel by airplane for only 280-340 CNY. I bought the ticket at the Ticketing Office, and I payed 340 CNY [60% off the normal fare]. Later, a travel agency informed 280 CNY. In both fares all taxes are included.Useful Information :
