Jiuhuashan is one of the best mountains in China for those who wish to appreciate a Buddhist culture that is only slightly marred by the tourism industry. The mountain has a number of Buddhist complexes to be explored at leisure, some in the village of Jiuhua and others up the steps that wind around the mountain’s peaks. Your wanderings will be nice just for the scenery and the caves, where various famous Buddhists came for contemplation, most notably the monks Wu Xia and Kim Kiao Kak (Jin Qiaojue), and the Tang poet Li Bai.More information of Jiuhuashan
