The main bus station is located directly opposite the railway station. The square between the railway station and the bus station has become something of a center for travelers with many buses to tourist attractions and other provincial destinations. The express bus reaches Zhengzhou(RMB20) and Kaifeng(RMB30) in 2 hours and 3 hours respectively. Buses to Zhengzhou depart every 20 minutes. Buses to Shaolin Temple (Songshan) are available every 30 minutes (RMB8). There are also coaches with hard sleepers to Xi’an (10 hours), Wuhan (15 hours), Taiyuan (11 hours) and Yantai (23 hours).
