Many of the sites to visit are near to Pingyao and the surrounding Pingyao Old Town offers a treasure trove of historical and religious relics. The most famous sites are the Pingyao City Wall, Shuangxiu Temple, Zhenguo Temple. There are other less famous but equally fascinating places worth visiting too.
