Banks and exchange The main Bank of China at 62 Zhongshan Lu (Men-Fri 8am-noon & 2-5.30pm) doesn’t change traveller’s cheques. A separate office directly opposite the front of the Catholic Church, with the same hours, deals with credit-card advances and traveller’s cheques.
