The various beaches and sights in Sanya are a fair distance apart. Taking a taxi or hiring a driver is the most convenient way to reach the destinations. Paying RMB 5 for the taxi cost, you can get to the city centre but to the scenic spot you should haggle the price with the taxi driver first.
Generally from city centre to Sanya Bay the taxi cost is RMB 25, to Dadonghai beach RMB 10 is enough and to Yalong Bay you should pay RMB 50.
