Day1.Arrive in Kunming, which is known as the Spring City, meet at airport, and transfer to your hotel. Then visit the Western Hill reserve (the Dragon Gate Grotto), and the Grand View Pavilion, which is famous for the longest couplet in China.
Day2.After breakfast, drive to the Stone Forest, the geological Karst wonder with the colorful local Sani People living around.
Day3.Take the morning flight to Dali. Cruising in Lake Erhai (or sightseeing the Cangshan Mt. by cable-car), then visit the Butterfly Spring, and the Temple of Three Pagodas, The Bai ethnic family at Xizhou Township and The Old Town of Dali.
Day4.A bus journey to Lijiang city in the morning. Visit the Black Dragon Pond Park, Shuhe Ancient Town, visit the Baisha Naxi Village where you will see the 500-year-old Baisha Fresco. Then back to Lijiang, visit the Ancient Town.
Day5.After breakfast, drive to the Jade Dragon Snow Mt., take cable-car up to the glacier (4506 m high), hike in the mountain for about 1 hour to enjoy the breathtaking view of the main peak (5596 m high), then take cable-car down, drive back to Lijiang. On the way, visit the Ganhaizi Meadow and Baishui River.
Day6.Morning drive to Shangri-la. On the way, Visit Tiger-Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest canyons of the world, and the First Bend of the Yangtze River, when the river reaches Shigu Township of Lijiang County, it makes an abrupt turn and flows northward, forming a great V-shaped bend reputed as the First Great Bend of the Yangtze River.
Day7.Visit Bitahai Lake, the most beautiful and highest lake in Yunnan. The surrounding mountains are densely scattered with azaleas, and each year in late spring and early summer, when the flowers are in full bloom, the hillsides seem to be dyed red. Visit Napahai Lake, a provincial nature reserve, which are capped with deep snow during winter and spring. And visit Songzanlin Lamasery, it is the largest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Yunnan Province. and in the Evening , Take the flight back to Kunming.
Day8.Visit the Golden Temple, which is the largest bronze-made temple in China, continue visiting the Jingxing Flowers and Birds market. Then transfer to airport for your departure flight.
