Shenyang is also the major railroad junction in Northeast China. There are two major railway stations in Shenyang. Trains heading for Beijing (9hours), Harbin (7hours), Guangzhou (55hours) and Shanghai (23hours) leave from the North Station on Beizhan Lu and trains to Dalian (6hours) usually leave from the South Station at Shengli Nan Jie.
