Situated in the east of Shenzhen and to the north of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone’s demarcation line at Beizaijiao, Yantian is best known for its logistics and tourism. With Mount Wutong in the west and Dapeng Bay in the east, Yantian occupies a total area of 71.83 square kilometers and has its district seat in Shatoujiao Township. Yantian port area has the second-largest deepwater container terminal in China. Yantian comprises four sub-district offices with 17 residents’ committees.
