By plane: Flights connect Shijiazhuang with more than a dozen cities in China, and to a few cities in Russia.
The airport is 33km from the city. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC, Zhongguo minhang, Tel: 0311-8027131), opposite the train station and beside the Bailin Hotel (see below), has buses (RMB20) that run to and from the airport in time for most major flights.
