The Jinding hotel (Jinding Binguan) is probably the highest hotel in the whole of Sichuan province, located right on the 3099M high Golden Summit peak of Emeishan Mountain. With the holy Buddhist temple-Golden Summit Temple and the viewer’s terrace both nearby, the unique location of the hotel make it an ideal place for rest after tasting the victory of ascent.

Guests here can enjoy the privilege of embracing the first beam of sunshine of the famous “Emeishan Sunrise”, and the opportunity to witness the breathtaking “Buddha’s Glow” formed by the unique weather conditions on the summit. Besides all this, the hotel rooms are all equipped with air-conditioning and private bath and TVs and IDD telephones. Rooms are clean and comfortable and various recreational facilities are available.

The hotel restaurant is particularly good and worth visiting even if you don’t plan to stay here. Prices are high, but when you observe the locals carting the food and equipment up the hillside, you will understand why!
