The Changmen Hotel (Changmen fandian) is build in 1936, former Xiejia Garden, a European-style villa for recuperation of government heads and high-ranking officials around 1949. In 1991,it became a historic reservation of Suzhou.

The hotel has 211 standard rooms and suites, all nicely equipped. The hotel’s Chinese Restaurant mainly serves Jiangsu cuisine. There are also 8 meeting rooms of different size. For recreation, there is a sauna center, disco, karaoke, tennis court and billiards room.
