The Kind Hotel (Tianjin kaide dajiudian) is located on the shore of the Hai river, near Tianjin railway station. It is 40 minutes from Tianjin Airport. A three star hotel, the Kind has rooms in both western and eastern styles, ranging from standard rooms to junior or VIP suites. All of these rooms are decked out with central air-conditioning, IDD telephone (with an extension in the bathroom), minibar and TV.
Facilities here are acceptable, with fairly decent business services (a business center with fax, internet, word-processing, EMS and translation; a multifunction hall of 320 square meters and the Kind Hall of 100 square meters) and an entertainment center (fitness center, beauty salon, billiards, and KTV). The restaurants, while nothing special, are also alright, serving a mixture of Western foods (French and Italian especially) and Chinese (Cantonese and Sichuan).
