The Oasis Hotel (Luzhou binguan) is one of the best hotels to base yourself in Turpan. This hotel enjoys a good location, situated in the busy commercial heart of the town. The hotel was renovated in 1998 and is situated amongst large and pleasant grounds. The hotel provide dorms and double rooms with air-conditioning. Some of the rooms are a bit dingy and prices tend to rise during the peak summer season.
This five storey hotel enjoys a nice location on Qingnian Lu, close to the market and about 43km from the railway station. The hotel offers basic three-bed dorms and smarter doubles. Outside, there is a nice grapevine-trellis covered courtyard, where you can sample fruit juices and fine wines during the summer. In the evenings, there are fun displays by local singers and dancers held in the courtyard.
The Jiaotong Hotel (Jiaotong binguan) is located on the north-south Qingnian Road. The hotel is just next to the long distance bus station which is very convenient for travelers. It is situated about 40km from the railway station. The hotel provide three, four and five person dorms with fans and double rooms with attached bathroom, TV and air-conditioning. There is a restaurant in the hotel providing Chinese and local cuisine too.
The Grain Trade Hotel (Liangmao binguan) is located in the city center on Laocheng Road. This is a huge and rambling place with dorm beds and double rooms. Most of the rooms here are equipped with TV and air-conditioning and have attached bathrooms.The hotel has its own restaurant which is spacious and serves traditional Chinese cuisine and local specialties.There are three different sized conference and meeting rooms available for guests use and the business center provides fax and photocopy services.
The Yiyuan Hotel (Yiyuan binguan) is one of the better hotels in Turpan, conveniently located in the city center on Qingnian Zhong Road, north of the junction with Laocheng Road. This is a small hotel with friendly staff.The hotel provide relatively cheap double rooms with attached bathrooms. They also offer four-bed dorms and most of the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and TV, although some are a bit dingy.
