There is no direct plane from major cities in China to Wutaishan. However, to save time, you may try flying to Taiyuan, the provincial capital and then take a bus to Taihuai, the central village in the Wutaishan.The Wusu airport lies on the southeastern outskirts of the city, about 15km from city center. It will cost around RMB25 to reach the center by taxi. The CAAC office is located at 158 Yingze dajie (Tel: 0531-4042903, open 08:00-20:00), for flight and general airport information.
