It mainly produced in kulun mountain in hotan ,there are wite jade,jasper,sapphire,topaz,black jade and so on .The best one is suet jade. Hotan jade is soft jade,it is composed by mineral tremolite ,the character is sensitive,bright colour,the wite jade like suet,the black like pure lacquer ,it both firm and soft,it clarity ,has blare ,the biggest one in history is 100 ton ,Hotan jade is the best material for carving ,the emperor in the old time like to make seal jade dress with it,ther are so many jade subject come out from the soil ,such as jinluyuyi,jade plate ,the ancent people like to make jewery and some container with it ,it is very popular.
