Xishuangbanna is situated at the northern part of The People’s Republic of China. According to the discovery,the mankind lived there as early as 100,000 years ago,and the discoveries proves that the ancient Xishuangbanna people have created a splendid culture.
After the unifying ,Qinshihuang has divided the country into 36 prefectures, sets up the Xishuangbanna prefecture and the prefecture managed by Jinyang. Some emperors of Tang Dynasty expanded the Jin yang city for several times.Therefore, the reputation of Xishuangbanna spread with the name of” Long Cheng “.
In Ming and Qing dynaity the economy of the Xishuangbanna developed rapidly,especially the articraft and business of the region made great effect on the whole country.
