There is large range of hotels. Starting at simple guesthouses and going up to very comfortable and large hotels of 3 to 4 star ratings. There are plenty of cheap accommodations for travelers. Check the room and, if you like it and if it is the low season, bargain hard. During the high season, you are off course more limited and prices increase a bit.
