The natural museum of MaLongShan stonw forest

Starting out from WuLong spring, after more than ten minutes drive, passing through the reservoir, along the road to climb up the mountain pick, not for a while , the car arrive the mountain col. Getting off the car, along a small winding path on the mountain, go toward the elevation 400 meters of mount MaLong. Climb to halfway up a hill, there spread out a piece of stone forest. There fills thin layer of fog on the top of the hill which can add the mysterious color for this stone forest.

The shape of the stone forest likes animals, man’s head, pagodas, bamboo shoots in here. There is more than 20 tourist attracions, such as KongQue KaiPing ,HeiXiong WangYue, FuHuoDao ShiXiang, BeiJing YuanRen,ShenXianZhu. The stone forest is the natural master piece, peculiar patternes, drawings, people wonder.

According to geological information, this is the big Trench about four billion years ago. Located at Pak Sha fracture zone, after crustal movement ,there formed the land in the seabed. Millions of years ago, long after the rain erosion and weathering of nature, there formed the stone pick, stone pillars and stalagmite. MalongShan stone forest is the tipical Karst landscape. It Shaped the topography natural museum.
Although the “MalongShan stone forest” is only about 300 acres of land, but it is defferent from any other stone forestes, with it’s wilderness, megasity, which let the people miss.
