Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.

Day 02: Beijing
Before the tour starts, you will meet the other members of your group this morning during the pre-tour briefing in the hotel. Your first stop is the impressive Tian’anmen Square. From there you will enter the “Imperial Palace” known as the Forbidden City to explore its many fascinating halls and pavilions. You will then go to the Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors worshipped the Heaven for good harvests. To round off a memorable start to your tour, we will arrange a delicious Beijing Duck Dinner valued at CNY122.00 net per person at the original, century-old Quan Ju De restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day 03: Beijing
This morning you will be taken to Badaling where you will experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at the shopping site restaurant, we specially arrange your lunch served at a local popular Sichuan food restaurant. Later the journey will take you to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the peaceful shadow of Longevity Mountain. After an a la carte dinner valued at CNY100.00 net per person at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area, we intend to leave one hour’s free time for you to have a stroll in the traffic-free Wangfujing Street and absorb something of the vibrant atmosphere of Beijing.

Day 04: Beijing - Xian
You will take an afternoon flight to Xian after visiting the Summer Palace. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the local best hotel. This evening we will offer you the best a la carte Banquet valued at CNY140.00 net per person at a top Cantonese cuisine restaurant.

Day 05: Xian
The visit to the majestic Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum will start your today’s tour. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have the a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person at a well-known restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening you will be transferred to the Tang Dynasty Palace, where after enjoying the local speciality, the Dumpling Banquet, you will be entertained with the splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Day 06: Xian
Today you will visit the Provincial History Museum, which houses a large collection of historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi Province. After the a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person served at a local cuisine restaurant, we specially invite a famous professor to have a talk with you on China, who may bring you some interesting topics such as Chinese literature, culture revolution, education, religious and beliefs, Chinese ethnic groups, festivals, marriage and family planning. You may also have questions and answers with the professor on Chinese people’s life today. This evening, the a la carte dinner valued at CNY80.00 net per person will be arranged at a well-known Sichuan cuisine restaurant.

Day 07: Xian - Guilin
Following the visit to the mighty City Wall, you will visit the Great Mosque. Your a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person will be served at a fine Cantonese cuisine restaurant. Take flight to Guilin. Our guide will transfer you to check in at the local best hotel.

Day 08: Guilin - Yangshuo
Enduring memories are created as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Then you will be transferred to your hotel. A short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged, which we feel sure will be one of the most memorable parts of your tour. You may also visit a local villager’s home. If you feel tired, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, TCG suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today.)

Day 09: Yangshuo - Guilin
Today, you will have the morning free to be totally relaxed. You can hire a bicycle enjoying the breathtaking scenery around the town or wonder along the West Street or having a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe. Our guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby at about 13:00 and drive you back to Guilin to visit the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill. You will enjoy the Ethnic Minority Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre after the a la carte dinner valued at CNY90.00 net per person.

Day 10: Guilin - Shanghai
This morning you will be transferred to board a flight to Shanghai. Our Shanghai guide will transfer you to the hotel. After finishing checking-in, our guide will take you to visit the Xin Tian Di, which is a newly developed recreation area in Shanghai with old styled buildings. During your exploration there, you may find a cafe or western-styled restaurant to have your own dinner.

Day 11: Shanghai
The first stop of today is an old town near Shanghai, Qibao, whose old style makes it completely different from modern Shanghai. You will then be transferred to downtown to visit the Shanghai Museum and the beautiful Yuyuan Garden. Then you will have some free time to stroll along the Bund to experience the thrills of old Shanghai. After sightseeing, you are invited to the Farewell Dinner valued at CNY105.00 net per person at Wang Bao He in Central Hotel, which enjoys 260 years history and serves the best Shanghai Cuisine. Following the dinner is a fascinating Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. Upon returning to the hotel our tour guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.

Day 12: Departure from Shanghai
