Day2 Guilin - Yangshuo
Today’s excursion is a cruise along the enchanting scenic Li River. By experiencing the magical beauty of limestone rock formations and farmland commonly seen in Chinese landscape paintings, you will enjoy yourself in the quiet, pastoral landscapes as a departure from the complex pragmatic world. A five-hour Lijiang River Cruise amid a watercolor fantasyland crowns you full day tour and finally lead you to the charming village Yangshuo. which has one of the best antique and handicraft markets in China. You can spend some leisure time in the Yangshuo West Street. This 2000-m-long street is fully crowed with stores, bars, cafes and hotels. Nearly all the dwellers, old and young, in the street can speak simple English and the street was regarded as the largest foreign language corner in China. Overnight in Yangshuo.

Day3 Yangshuo
We intend to leave the day free. You can find a tiny and enigmatic world with the breathtaking scenery and have a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe feeling totally relaxed. You can rent a bicycle to visit some famous scenery spots by yourselves. The Moon Hill is worth of your visit, with a limestone pinnacle with a moon-shaped hole penetrating the hill. And the Tall Banyan is also a beautiful scenery in Yangshuo, which is famous for its old and tall. And many couples of lovers and tourists, filled with admiration, like to take beautiful pictures in front of this old tree.

Day4 Yangshuo - Guilin - Kunming
Depart Yangshuo and back to Guilin. Today’s sightseeing starts with a visit to the Seven-Star Park, which contains Camel Hill with a miniature garden, and Seven Star Hill whose Seven peaks are positioned like the stars in the Big Dipper. The followed exploration in the Red Flute Cave needs your imagination to follow the guides’ description of the limestone which is supposed to resemble a giant goldfish, a Buddha, and assorted vegetables. Take the flight to Kunming and check into the hotel.

Day5 Kunming
Take a visit to the Dianchi Lake. Being a highland lake with an elevation of 1885 meters, the lake is reputed as a “Pearl on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau.” The city tour in the afternoon brings you to Yuantong Temple, northern Yunnan’s major Buddhist site and an active place of pilgrimage, and Daguan Lou (Grand View Pavilion), which was built in 1690. The name means Tower of the Magnificent View and it does allow you to have the most complete and amazing view of the whole Daguan park. This tower used to be the Qing Emperor Kangxi’s favorite hangout place. The West Hills can be seen here on the tower across the Lake Dianchi and the hills outline the figure of a woman reclining with her long hair rippling into the lake. Thus the West Hills also have the name “Sleeping Beauty Hills”. Enjoy a typical Yunnan flavor dinner at a local restaurant.

Day6 Kunming - Xishuangbanna
Take a flight from Kunming to Xishangbanna. Xishuangbana is called the natural “Kingdom of Plants” and “Kingdom of Animals”. It occupies the only tropical primitive forest in China. Here you’ll come across many scenic spots with ethnic traditions. Check in the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day7 Xishuangbanna
Your fantastic tour today begins with a visit to the Dai Village at Manfinglan with its warmhearted hospitality, delicious food and the beautiful and unique architecture of Dai. The material used mainly for the houses here is bamboo with leaves covering the ceilings and walls, and the houses are all lifted above the ground: there is a distance of at least 1.5 m (6 feet) between the ground and the floor where people live. The Dai people here also offer the most authentic performance of folk dances and musical that all visitors are welcome to enjoy as well as participate. After a glance at the Yuantong Temple, you are transferred to the Tropical Plant Research Institute, In additional rubber plantation, the institute plants over 1,000 plants with economical or medicinal value. And an excursion in the National Minority Park, featuring rare tropical plants and animals as well as minority customs, offers you a showcase of the beautiful Xishuangbanna.

Day8 Xishuangbanna - Kunming
Transferred back to Kunming by air and check into the hotel. A full-day excursion to the Stone Forest. Gradually formed over the years, the Stone Forest is basically limestone pinnacles and rocks standing beautifully like petrified trees in fantastic shapes. It is home to the Sani people, a branch of the Yi minority. You are able to get a very good view of the unique local houses on the sides of the road. The Stone Forest Lake also offers one of the best locations to enjoy an incredible sunset scenery.
