Frommer’s Review
Located on the northwest outskirts of town on the road to the Han tombs, this quiet restaurant opposite the Yang Binguan, the official government hotel, is used to serving demanding government officials, so you can count on the quality of food here, even if the ground-floor dining hall lacks atmosphere. House specialties include xiafen shizitau (crabmeat lion’s head meatballs), feicu - tajin (braised pork thigh), and yangyau baichao xiare (stir-fried fresh shrimp). There is no English menu, but the staff, none of whom speak English, try to be helpful.
