Yangzhou to Stage Tourism Festival
The Yangzhou Tourism Festival be held from April 15 to May 15 in Yangzhou of east China’s Jiangsu Province every year.
The local tourism department predicts that the month-long festival will highlight the history and culture of Yangzhou and its tourist attractions.
Tourists will be treated to evening parties, art performances, and various exhibitions during the festival, according to the organizing committee.
The 2,500-year old city is China’s officially designated tourism city, and was a water traffic hub in China’s history.
