1. Brief Introduction of Yantai China Timepiece Museum
Yantai China Timepiece Museum is so far the only timepiece museum of China ,is one of the nationwide and professional museum, which aims to present and research Chinese chronograph development history 、 show and publicize the achievement of Chinese modern timepiece industry 、 exhibit and collect timepiece collections at all times and in all over the world 、 spread and popularize knowledge of science and technology in timing field. The museum is located on the famous resort named Yantai Mountain,covers an area of more than 1700 square meters. It is supported by Yantai People ‘ s Government 、 China Timepiece Association and China Chronograph History Institute; and is sponsored by the deputy director of China Timepiece Association -Yantai Polaris Corporation.

2. Yantai city museum
The Museum of Yantai City, also called Palace of Goddess, used to be Fujian Trade Union in the past, which broke ground in 1884 with the donations from Fujian shipping merchants and was completed in 1906. The unusual architectural style of Southern Fujian is fully mirrored out of the elegant structure and exquisite sculptures. The whole museum consists of five parts, main entrance, grand palace, rear palace, drama stage, the east and west galleries. Fairy tales, legends, folk stories, historic figures were ingeniously carved on the wood and stone columns and beams, full of artistic creativity. The museum is an important State-level protected place.
