Taxis are plentifid and cost RMB5, with RMB15 enough to journey to the far east- ern beaches. Bus #2 is the most useful around the city, travelling east from the train station along Nan Dajie, the main street, then turning south down Jiefang Ltl. Bus #17 travels from the train station east along the coast.
