- Yueyang city museum:
The Yueyang city museum of the Hunan province is located beside the beautiful scenec area Nanhu lake. With the government investment of 16 million Rmb, the Yueyang city museum constructing was started in Aughust 1996 and was completed in October 29th 1999.The museum covers an area of 6600 square meters, the total constructing area covers 11000 square meters.
The structure is in China ancient style, height is 28.8 meter, 3 storey. In front of the gate is a statue with the diameter of 1.5 meters,hight 9.2 meters.
The museum’s main room is in the center, there’re also exhibition room, store house, meeting romm etc. The exhibition room covers an area of 2200 meters, devided to 2 storey, consisted of 8 little exhibition rooms.
The Yueyang city museum has already become a window that’s displaying the historical and cultural relics as well as modern civilization of the Yueyang city.
